Parent Teacher conferences

Parent teacher conferences will be held November 3 to November 7, 2025.  Monday, November 3 is non student day but conferences will be held on campus on November 3rd.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are an essential opportunity for families and educators to partner in supporting student success. These meetings allow teachers and parents to share insights about a child’s academic progress, strengths, and areas for growth.

Why They Matter:
  • Collaboration: Families and teachers work together to set goals and align strategies for learning at home and school.

  • Communication: Conferences open a two-way dialogue, ensuring parents understand classroom expectations and how their child is progressing.

  • Support: Teachers can share individualized recommendations, while parents can provide valuable context about their child’s learning style, interests, and needs.

  • Connection: Strengthening the relationship between home and school helps build a community that supports each student’s growth.

Red Ribbon Week: October 27–31

Next week, Tijeras Creek will celebrate Red Ribbon Week—a time to promote making healthy and positive choices. At our school, we emphasize caring for both our bodies and our relationships with others.

Students can look forward to special dress-up days and an exciting Magic Assembly focused on the theme of “Healthy Choices.”
