Welcome Back, Tijeras Creek Families!
“Together We Rise”

Dear Tijeras Creek Families,

Back to School Night
Our back to school night is Thursday September 11 from 5:00-6:45 PM.  We will also have an Outdoor Science Camp meeting in the Maker’s Space at 7:00 for our 5th grade families that are going to camp. This will be an introductory meeting to give families the basic information about camp and talk about cost, clothes or any other questions you may have regarding camp.  We go to camp May 26 to May 29.

BTSN Schedule - Thursday, September 11, 2025
     5:00-5:45   Grades TK- 2nd grade
6:00-6:45   Grades 3-5th grade (Morrison’s class to be at this time)
7:00-7:30   Outdoor Science Camp Meeting in Maker’s Space

BTSN Weekly Schedule - Please note, this schedule is different from previous years.

Thursday September 11- Dismissal at 2:05 (1:55 for Kindergarten)
Friday September 12 - Dismissal at 12:15 (12:05 for Kindergarten)

PTA will have the bookfair open in the MPR and there will also be tables from some of the groups that work with our students.

I am looking forward to a great evening and experience.  I hope to see you all there (Note this is an adult event and prefer that students stay home). The YMCA may be offering babysitting services for a nominal fee.

Patriot Day Assembly 9-11 at 7:45 at blacktop

Also on 9/11 at 7:45AM, parents are invited to the blacktop for our special Patriot Day Assembly.  This is to recognize all of our first responders as we give honor to them with a quick speech and present them with a small token of appreciation.  I am asking for all service people, law enforcement, fire department, medical workers to come to our assembly so we can honor you.  If you are not able to attend the assembly but would like us to recognize both past and present first responders that is okay also.

Please complete the First Responder form, so we can honor all.  This should be a great event and I hope to see you all there.  If you are unable to complete the form, please go to the front office or to the teacher and submit your name.
