Open House Wednesday After Glow
Well, the anticipation and excitement of Open House was fulfilled this past Wednesday. It was so nice to see smiling students and parents. The students are so proud of their work and explaining it to the parents. I would like to give out big “Thank You’s” to our students, our teachers, our staff, and our families. There is much success when we all work together to provide the best for our students. Everyone has put in an endless amount of time and energy for their success. You are all appreciated and noticed. The book fair also continues to be a big success. Thanks to the PTA for putting this together and giving all an opportunity to increase their own personal libraries. Reading is fundamental to achievement and by providing more access to reading is always a good thing.
Returning back to school on April 14
When we return on April 14, there will be approximately 8 weeks left of this school year. The 5th graders will be going to camp, we will be having a Spring Fest, and many other end of year events. This is especially a great time to be a 5th grader. They are winding down their elementary journey and we want to leave them with a special send off. We also have our Smarter Balance Testing (grades 3-5) and other end of the year diagnostics. We need to be rested and balanced to come back on April 14 to finish this year’s race STRONG. Enjoy your break and come back rested and ready to go. We are going to blink our eyes and the year will be over. Thanks again for your efforts you put in so far and the efforts you will put in until the end of the year. Have a great break and see you back on April 14.

Let’s have a great week
