What to Do during your Winter Break
Our students can use winter break to recharge by balancing rest, fun, and light learning. Plenty of sleep and downtime are essential for physical and mental recovery. Creative activities, like crafting, baking, or drawing, stimulate their imagination and provide enjoyable outlets for energy. Outdoor play or family-friendly physical activities keep them active and connected to nature.
Engaging in light educational activities, such as reading fun books, playing educational games, or exploring hobbies, ensures their minds stay active without feeling like schoolwork. Spending quality time with family, whether through holiday traditions, storytelling, or movie nights, fosters emotional well-being and strengthens bonds.
Encouraging gratitude and giving back through small acts of kindness, like making cards or helping neighbors, can inspire a positive mindset. This balance of rest, play, and connection helps children return to school feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to learn. We come back recharged and ready to finish the year. Have a blessed holiday break.
Party Reminders:
As we are getting closer to Christmas and other holidays, there will be some celebrations going on within our school among the different classrooms. Please remember the following:
- Healthy treats that are nutritious and good for the student are encouraged
- Avoid candy, cakes, and other sweet treats if possible.
- If you are attending a party to volunteer or other, please be sure to sign in at the front office and get a visitor pass.
- Volunteers are here to help all students.
Thank you and have a great break. Remember there is no school on Friday Dec. 20.
Balance, peace, and joy are the fruit of a successful life. Thomas Kinkade
