FINAL WEEK OF 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
As we approach the end of the 2025-2026 school year, we have just one week of school remaining. We are looking forward to a memorable final week filled with special activities, beginning with Field Day on Monday and culminating with our 5th Grade Clap Out on Thursday morning.
We will also hold our final School Spirit Assembly on Thursday at 7:45 a.m. During this assembly, we will recognize staff members who will not be returning next school year and conclude our student character recognition program.
This year has brought many changes and opportunities for growth. Throughout it all, our school community has remained committed to being respectful, responsible, and kind. While we faced challenges along the way, we worked through them together and emerged stronger as a result.
I am incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the dedication, resilience, and positive spirit they have demonstrated throughout the year. I also extend my sincere appreciation to our teachers and staff for their unwavering commitment to student success, and to our parents and families for their partnership and support.
The saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” truly reflects our school community. Together, we have created a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can thrive.
Thank you for a wonderful school year. I wish all of our families a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break.
Thank You from Mr. K.
I have had the privilege of serving as your principal at Tijeras Creek for the past four years. It has been a meaningful and rewarding experience, and I have truly valued the students, staff, and families who make this community so special. I feel a deep connection to this school and to the people who bring it to life each day.
I will miss the energy of our busy days and the many opportunities I had to connect with students throughout the school, especially in classrooms, during lunch, and at recess. Our students have a remarkable way of brightening each day and “filling your bucket” in a way that cannot be matched.
Thank you for the dedication, care, and perseverance you have shown over these past four years. As Tijeras Creek continues forward, I am confident that Ms. Soboleski will provide the leadership and commitment to excellence that are such an important part of our school’s culture.
Finish strong!
