End of Year Activities

We are now in the final month of our school year.  There are many events and activities taking place during this month.  We will be having our Spring Fest Thursday May 14 from 5-7 on our blacktop.  We will be having inflatables, food, and fun activities.  I hope to see you there as we wind down the school year and start getting ready for all of our summer plans. We also have End of the Year activities with our 5th graders.  We have outdoor science camp May 26 to May 29.  There will be the city sales with grades 4 and 5, clapout, and 5th grade talent show.   Tijeras Creek is a wonderful place to be and we look forward to celebrating the 2025-2026  school year in style.  Thank you to the students, families, staff, and teachers that help make this a great time to be a Tijeras Creek Tiger!

Thank you to our PTA

Teacher appreciation week put on by our PTA was an outstanding week of spoiling us with treats, breakfast, lunch, gifts and more.  We appreciate all the tender loving care presented to our teachers and staff.  It is really a great community.

State Testing Continued

Our third and fourth grade students will begin their SBA Testing this week on Monday at 8:30 a.m.  Please continue to be that support for your child as they demonstrate their proficiency.  We are proud of them all.

To support your child’s success, we ask for your partnership with the following:
  • Ensure your child arrives at school on time during the testing window
  • Help your child get a good night’s rest and eat a healthy breakfast
  • Continue to provide encouragement and positive affirmations

The SBA is one measure of your child’s academic progress. We encourage all students to do their best and approach the assessment with confidence. Thank you for your continued support.

“A strong school community is built by people who give their time, talents, and hearts. Thank you, PTA, for all you do to support our students and staff.”

Let’s have a great Week !
