Week of giving:
Giving back to others fosters compassion, strengthens communities, and creates a ripple effect of kindness. It builds meaningful connections, promotes empathy, and helps address societal inequalities. Acts of generosity improve not only the lives of others but also bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose to those who give. Supporting others inspires a culture of care and contributes to a better world for everyone. We value this at Tijeras Creek.
Here is our schedule for next week regarding giving back
Monday- Toy Drive- new and unwrapped toys
Wednesday-PJ & Kids socks- We are partnering with the organization of “Words of Comfort” who support Marines and families of Camp Pendleton. Pajama day dress up day.
Friday- Food Drive- this is working with RSM Cares- we. will collect non-perishable food items all week either at the front office or in collection binds throughout the campus.
As we get closer to Thanksgiving, this is a great opportunity to “give back” and share with others that are in need. Thanks for your support.
Pick up and Drop off Reminders:
To avoid receiving tardies and being at school on time, we begin our supervision of students at 7:30 AM so the students can be on time for class. Lines into the school can be long if you wait to come in at 7:40 or so. We have staff that will assist in picking up students and dropping them off. We want to start school at 7:45 and work on having great student attendance. Parents please just drop the students off at the curb and not get out and help the student out or say another “goodbye” This delays our lines. Thank you for your support in this.

Let’s have a great week!
