Dear Tiger Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Tijeras Creek Elementary and to welcome both our returning Tiger families and those joining our school community for the first time.

 

For the past 25 years, I have proudly served students, teachers, and school communities throughout Capistrano Unified School District. I strongly believe every student can learn and achieve at high levels. That belief is the foundation of everything we do at Tijeras Creek and drives our commitment to ensuring every student experiences success. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to provide engaging learning experiences, maintain high expectations, and create a positive environment where every student is known, challenged, and celebrated.

 

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate “Our Final Lap.” Together, we will honor the traditions that have made Tijeras Creek such a special place while celebrating the legacy built by generations of Tiger students, families, and staff. As we finish this final year together, we are committed to making every moment meaningful and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

 

We also know that student success is strongest when schools and families work together. Your partnership is one of our greatest strengths, and we encourage you to stay connected, participate in school events, and be an active part of your child's educational journey.
